I’ve seen the Blackstone River change before my very eyes, and it’s become a wonderful source of beauty for the community
Keith is an avid environmentalist, and his personal mission is the restoration and preservation of the Blackstone River, which runs from Worcester, Massachusetts to Providence, Rhode Island. Keith now serves as the River Restoration Coordinator for the Blackstone River Watershed Council/Friends of the Blackstone. Currently his focus is on improving river access and getting the property and financing together for a building to house the tools needed to keep the river beautiful. Most importantly, Keith gathers groups ranging from two people to two hundred to clean the river. Keith's work has been formally recognized on several occasions, including the John H. Chafee Rhode Island Rivers Day Award in 2002.
