Sara is Cabot's Director of Wellness & Community Programs, and is a Registered Dietitian.We believe Health embodies a total lifestyle approach to wellness including not just what we eat, but also how we move, interact, support and share with those around us. Volunteering is a documented part of true wellness.
It's Sara's role to help educate consumers and health professionals about the many varied health benefits dairy provides your body throughout your life. Starting with education programs for pre-kindergarten students all the way through grade 12, Sara manages Cabot's free Community and School wellness programs. They include: Cabot's Scout Patch programs, health-focused posters for school classrooms and cafeterias, financial literacy programs, programs designed to help you fuel your body for aging well, and many more. As founder of the Cabot Fit movement, Sara motivates employees and consumers on ways that can help them lead a more balanced and active life.
Born and raised in Vermont, Sara currently lives in Waterbury Center with her husband Jesse; their daughter Celia; their son, Vincent, and one very loveable Guinea Pig named Spike.
We're proud to note that Sara is also the President of Vermont Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, a volunteer position!
